Certificate of Transparency awarded by NCPERS
The Certificate of Transparency is awarded to the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System for its participation in the 2026 National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems (NCPERS) Public Retirement Systems Study. This study seeks to further open disclosure, data collection, and encourage the public’s understanding of public retirement systems.
The certificate honors OPERS’ participation in the study of 149 public retirement systems, as well as the commitment and work that engages a further atmosphere of openness between pension systems and the public.
NCPERS commended OPERS for furthering open disclosure, expanding the available data and fostering a culture of understanding and transparency.
This is the second consecutive year OPERS has received this award.
