EVERETT, Wash., June 16, 2026 — Snohomish County Human Services has released its 2025 Early Learning Annual Report, showcasing the significant impact of its Early Learning Division programs in supporting young children and families throughout the county.

The report highlights the achievements of three critical programs: Early Head Start (EHS), Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT), and the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP). Together, these programs provide comprehensive services that strengthen child development, family well-being, and school readiness for thousands of children across Snohomish County.

Highlights from the report include:

• Early Head Start is a home-based support service for children and families from pregnancy to age 3, that emphasizes family-based health, family well-being, early learning, and development. Early Head Start supported 134 families and 17 pregnant women by bringing individualized early learning services directly into the home.   
• Early Support for Infants and Toddlers provided services to more than 3,100 children, helping families access developmental therapies, resources, and support during critical early years of development.
• Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program delivered comprehensive preschool services to more than 1,441 low-income families, focusing on early education, social-emotional development, health services, and kindergarten readiness through partnerships at 16 locations throughout Snohomish County.
