TSBVI Summer Programs 2026 is well underway!  It was exciting to see new and returning students on campus yesterday. Thanks to the staff across all departments who are setting up this summer for success. 

Over the weekend, TSBVI Outreach held the Texas Focus Conference in Round Rock. This year’s event had some great speakers, but I really appreciated the way family voices were elevated and at the forefront of every conversation. Regardless of our work and positions on campus, it’s so important to learn from the families of our students. TX Senseabilities provides Family Wisdom within each publication.

The National Federation of the Blind is holding their National Convention in Austin this summer from July 3rd – 8th. Their agenda and FAQs are available online with on-site registration available if you decide to check it out. It’s an incredibly affordable event with a $10 virtual option as well.
