OMPA’s Lough Honored At APPA Nationals
OMPA’s Palma Lough was among 24 individuals and nine utilities who were recognized by the American Public Power Association (APPA) at its annual national conference in New Orleans on June 10.
Lough was awarded the Harold Kramer-John Preston Personal Service Award as recognition for her long career with OMPA and her service to the APPA. She retired in May as the Member Relations & Training Manager for the Authority.
Lough served as Chair of the APPA’s 2023 Customer Connections Conference in San Antonio.
The Harold Kramer-John Preston Personal Service Award was established to recognize “member utility employees who have made significant contributions toward the American Public Power Association’s goals and enhanced its prestige.”
