Maine International Trade Center (MITC) is hiring an International Trade Specialist for our Portland, ME office.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in an entrepreneurial setting
- Strong customer focus skills, including the ability to understand business owners’ needs and recommend resources and tools in a clear and efficient manner
- Fundamental understanding of the differing needs of Maine’s rural and urban communities
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to tailor communication methods to the audience
