UPDATE: Two Vehicle Fatality Crash in Caldwell

CALDWELL, Idaho-The Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 2:33 a.m. on Monday May 25, 2026, in Canyon County, Idaho near Simplot Boulevard and Farmway Road.
A 2001 Kenworth commercial vehicle was headed westbound on Simplot Boulevard when a 2010 Ford Fusion headed eastbound crossed the center line and went head on with the Kenworth.
The Kenworth was driven by a 57-year old male from American Falls and was not injured. He was wearing his seatbelt. The Ford was driven by a middle-aged male from Homedale who succumbed to his injuries on scene.
The roadway is still currently blocked.
The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
