Volunteer Generation Fund Technical Assistance Call Information

Last week, Volunteer Florida released a Request for Proposals for its Volunteer Generation Fund grant. Funding will allow grantees to recruit and retain skills-based volunteers. The Volunteer Generation Fund (VGF) will help nonprofits use skills-based volunteers to serve Florida students, families, and communities.

Volunteer Florida’s VGF program helps organizations to more effectively recruit, manage, support and retain skills-based volunteers. Skills-based volunteering is a strategic type of volunteerism that expands the impact of community organizations by engaging professionals from all industries, matching their experience, talents and education with the needs of nonprofits.
