TORONTO, ON, CANADA, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Residents of a North York apartment building now play on the same basketball court surface that hosted Olympic competition in Paris last summer. Total Sport Solutions (TSS) has completed installation of a 5,900-square-foot court at Fitzrovia's Sloane Building using Junckers UnoBat 45 hardwood flooring, the official surface for FIBA and both the Paris and upcoming LA Olympics.

The full NBA-sized court sits three stories above Dufferin Street, directly across from Yorkdale Mall. Fitzrovia serves as the official rental housing provider for the Toronto Raptors through its partnership with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), making the Olympic-grade installation both a reflection of professional standards and a community amenity for all residents.

The installation showcased TSS's ability to solve complex logistical challenges. To deliver materials to the third-floor site without disrupting building operations, TSS utilized specialized hoists and telescopic handlers. The finished court features custom details, including:

➡️ A custom 20-foot centre court logo and custom stains using Bona products
➡️ Retractable 30-foot ceiling-mounted basketball goals with regulation tempered glass backboards
➡️ Custom-fitted column and truss padding for maximum safety

This installation marks the second successful collaboration between TSS and Fitzrovia, reinforcing the partnership between the two organizations. By bringing Olympic-standard equipment to a residential setting, TSS continues to bridge the gap between professional-grade performance and community-focused recreation.
