MPD Arrests Robbery Suspect
The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect in a robbery that occurred in Northwest.
On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at approximately 8:10 p.m., the suspect approached the victim at the intersection of 14th Street and Perry Place Northwest. The suspect assaulted the victim, took the victim’s property then fled the scene.
A short time later, as a result of the detective’s investigation, a 32-year-old Jorge Beltran of Northwest, was arrested and charged with Robbery.
