MPD Investigating ATV Hit and Run Crash
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a traffic crash that resulted in severe injuries of a pedestrian in Northeast.
On Thursday, February 13, 2025, at approximately 5:05 p.m., an adult male was walking westbound, on the north sidewalk, in the 600 block of Michigan Avenue, Northeast, when he was struck from behind by an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) operated by an unknown male suspect. The ATV was using the sidewalk to travel and after striking the pedestrian the driver fled the scene on the ATV. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital by DC Fire and EMS and is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
