Please join SEI and its partners for this virtual event to launch the online information portal for the Maximising UK Adaptation to Climate Change (MACC) program – a new, landmark initiative aimed at addressing the urgent need for transformative climate adaptation across the UK.

The launch session will showcase the new “MACC Hub”, provide discussion of key adaptation issues, and offer opportunities to engage with the project and its research agenda. The event will include:

• Discussions led by experts and policymakers from across the UK to explore a shared vision for a well-adapted future.
• Interactive exercises that offer attendees an opportunity to contribute ideas and insights to shape the Hub’s work.
• Speed presentations showcasing the research agendas that will be pursued as part of the wider effort to shed light how best to drive innovation in adaptation strategies.
• Opportunities to learn about how to get involved in advancing adaptation efforts, including joining the MACC advisory board, contributing to knowledge-sharing platforms, and participating in key adaptation events.

The event will offer policymakers, researchers and practitioners an opportunity to engage with a diverse community working to build resilience and shape the UK’s climate adaptation agenda.
