Applications Available For Reopened Vacancy Of Eighth Judicial District, Department C

The Commission on Judicial Selection convened on February 8, 2023 to conduct interviews for Department C. After multiple ballots the Commission was unable to reach a majority as to three names to submit to the Governor and the Chair declared an impasse. Department C became available due to the retirement of the Honorable Rebecca Burton in January of this year.
Applications for Department C are due March 10, 2023. Applicants interested in applying must contact Ms. Margarita Bautista at mbautista@nvcourts.nv.gov to receive the required application materials.
