Emma grew up in Cornish, New Hampshire and attended Yale University where she majored in Biology. In medical school she was selected for a longitudinal immersion in primary care program. She also remained involved in narrative and humanism in medicine activities. She enjoys spending time outdoors especially backpacking, hiking in National Parks, and long-distance running. She has hiked Nüümü Poyo (the JMT) and the northern half of the Appalachian Trail. She also enjoys journaling, creative writing, painting with watercolors and acrylics. Emma will also happily complete a puzzle or go to an escape room!
