Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Jay Demetree to the University of North Florida Board of Trustees

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Jay Demetree to the University of North Florida Board of Trustees.

Demetree is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Demetree Brothers, Inc. Active in his community, he serves as a member of the Jacksonville University Board of Advisory, the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation, and the Ronald McDonald House Advisory Board of Jacksonville. Demetree earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
