/EINPresswire.com/ Los Angeles, CA: Please join PEN Center USA and Narrow Books at The Standard Hotel on February 4, 2012, at 7PM for the release of The Rattling Wall, Issue 2. The Rattling Wall is a Los Angeles-based literary journal specializing in short fiction, travel essays, and poetry. The reading line-up will be announced in the coming weeks; a book signing will follow the reading.

The Rattling Wall, Issue 2, features Los Angeles artist Lyndsey Lesh and includes new work by Gene Albamonte, Eric Amling, Diana Anhalt, Refael Paul Arenson, Katie Arnoldi, Laurel Crosby, Natashia Deón, Dana Goodyear, Anna Journey, Ron Koertge, Noelle Kocot, Yusef Komunyakaa, Keetje Kuipers, Christian Lander, Michal Lemberger, Helena Lipstadt, Paul Maliszewski, Rick Marlatt, Lou Mathews, Graham Moore, Kevin Nolan, Jamie O'Halloran, Claire Ortalda, Dale Pendell, Martin Pousson, Henry Rollins, Jim Ruland, Jon Sands, David Shook, Alan Soldofsky, J. Ryan Stradal, Andrew Tonkovich, Erik Wennermark, and Paula Younger.

The Rattling Wall is edited by Michelle Meyering. Ms. Meyering is Director of Programs and Events at PEN Center USA. She graduated from the University of Redlands in 2005 with a BA in English. She received her MFA from American University in 2008.

The Standard Hotel is located at 8300 Sunset Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90069. Admission is free. RSVPs are not required. Valet parking is available at The Standard for $6.
