21st St. and Iowa St. traffic signal to begin operation October 25

Beginning Wednesday, October 25, the newly installed traffic signal at the intersection of 21st St. and Iowa St. will be in full operation.

 

Harper St. closure extended through November 4

Originally announced in the Weekly Traffic Update for August 25, City contractors will closed Harper St. from 23rd St. to the first private driveway to reconstruct the street in the area and install a waterline, storm sewer, and new concrete pavement. This closure is associated with the E. 23rd St. Reconstruction project.

The City now anticipates this closure to end November 4, pending weather or other delays.

 

Iowa St. traffic impacts for Bob Billings Fiber Extension project

On Monday and Tuesday of next week, City contractors will continue work on the Bob Billings Fiber Extension project along Iowa St. Drivers may encounter small traffic impacts on Iowa St. as this work progresses.

The City anticipates these traffic impacts along Iowa St. to end Tuesday, October 24, pending weather or other delays.

 

Eastbound Bob Billings Pkwy. lane to reopen

The City of Lawrence is pleased to announce the reopening of the eastbound Bob Billings Pkwy. lane west of Iowa St.

 

Kasold Dr. lanes to reopen Monday

Originally announced in the Weekly Traffic Update for October 6, both northbound lanes of Kasold Dr. north of Clinton Pkwy. were closed for City contractors to complete street maintenance work in the area.

The City now anticipates Kasold Dr. to reopen on Monday, October 23, pending weather or other delays.
