Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Friday, July 28, 2023, in the 2200 block of New York Avenue, Northeast.

At approximately 11:23 am, the suspect approached an employee inside of an establishment at the listed location. The suspect snatched money from the employee’s hand then fled the scene.

The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:
