SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: 

              On 07/16/2023 at approximately 2034 hours, Vermont State Police received a call from members of the Skeete family reporting a burglary at their seasonal residence located on Cahoon Farm Rd. in Walden. Troopers responded to the scene and found that unknown individuals had forcefully entered the residence and caused tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of damage. The offenders broke all the windows and glass doors, tore down drywall, destroyed all the furniture, and tossed over half of the household items off the deck into the front yard.  They also caused extensive damage to the vehicle stored in the basement garage. Investigation on scene, indicated multiple individuals were involved in the incident and that it occurred between April 16^th and July 15^th of this year.
