On the occasion of 8 March International Women’s Day, Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Rector’s Office is to organize a panel with the participation of female members of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Parliament. The event will take place on Friday, 10 March 2023 at 10:00 at EMU Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall.

To be moderated by EMU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu, the panel will host TRNC Parliament Deputy Chair Fazilet Özdenefe, National Unity Party Parliament Members Resmiye Eroğlu Canaltay and Yasemin Öztürk, Republican Turkish Party Parliament Members Dr. Doğuş Derya, Dr. Sıla Usar İncirli and Şifa Çolakoğlu, and Independent Parliament Members Ayşegül Baybars and Jale Refik Rogers as guest speakers.
