Gasification level in Tula Oblast increased to 83 per cent
The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Vladimir Gruzdev, Governor of the Tula Oblast.
The parties discussed the progress with the Agreement of Cooperation placing an emphasis on the regional gasification issue. It was highlighted that Gazprom had invested RUB 2.8 billion in the regional gasification between 2002 and 2010. This increased the Tula Oblast gasification level to 83 per cent (by 5.7 per cent) including up to 91.7 (by 3.5 per cent) in cities and towns as well as up to 51.2 per cent (by 11.6 per cent) in the rural area. The identical figures throughout Russia average 63.1, 69.8 and 46.7 per cent accordingly.
Alexey Miller and Vladimir Gruzdev discussed further gasification of the Tula Oblast as well as retrofitting of regional gas distribution stations (GDS). It was noted that three GDS – Severo-Zadonskaya, Yasnogorskaya and Dedilovskaya – were entered into the 2011–2015 Comprehensive Program for Reconstruction and Re-equipment of Gas Transmission Facilities and Compressor Stations of Underground Gas Storage Facilities being implemented by Gazprom.
