Haiti has been gripped by rising food and fuel prices, issues that have been exacerbated by political instability and protests, with many calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry, who along with 18 top-ranking officials, states that they are alarmed by "the risk of a major humanitarian crisis" that is threatening the lives of many people. The Haitian violent gangs and political turmoil push the country to the ‘edge of collapse’. Our hearts go out to the people of Haiti who continue to suffer.
