​Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 is announcing utility work on Interstate 79 in Amwell Township, Washington County will occur on Sunday, October 2 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., weather permitting. 

Rolling traffic stoppages will occur in each direction on Interstate 79 north of Exit 23 (Marianna / Prosperity). Crews from DQE Communications will work to install an aerial line.

PennDOT is not involved in this work and is providing this information as a public service announcement only.
