Northbound Route 28 Lane Shift Saturday in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing a lane shift on northbound Route 28 in Aspinwall and Sharpsburg boroughs and O'Hara Township, Allegheny County, will occur Saturday, July 24 weather permitting.

The current northbound Route 28 single-lane restriction between the Highland Park Bridge exit (Exit 6) and Delafield exit (Exit 7) will shift from the left lane to the right lane on Saturday from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Crews from Golden Triangle Construction, Inc. are relocating traffic onto the new pavement in order to work on the existing pavement.

Please allow extra time and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
