IT Governance delivers the first ISMS course approved by IBITGQ

Delegates who attended the company's ISO27001 Certified ISMS Lead Implementer course in May 2011 are the first to receive the Certified ISMS Lead Implementer (CIS LI) qualification awarded by The International Board for IT Governance Qualifications (IBITGQ). All candidates had to complete and pass an IBITGQ exam delivered as part of the course.
Three of IT Governance's classroom based courses ISO27001 ISMS Foundation Course, ISO27001 Certified ISMS Lead Implementer and ISO27001 Certified ISMS Lead Auditor Course were approved by IBITGQ - a not-for-profit association dedicated to the development of certifications for the continued professional development of information security, business resilience and IT governance professionals. Candidates who book on any of these courses and pass the exam at the end of the course will receive respectively, the following qualifications: ISMS Foundation (CIS F), ISMS Lead Implementer (CIS LI) and Certified ISMS Lead Auditor (CIS LA). The certificates are issued by gasq, an independent, international accredited certification body approved by IBITGQ.
