IT Governance accredited for EXIN ISO27002 Course

IT Governance Ltd, the global leader in ISO27001 information, standards, books, tools and training, has announced that it has now been formally accredited by EXIN as a training provider for the EXIN ISO27002 Foundation Course.

The Information Security Foundation based on ISO/IEC 27002 Training Course (www.itgovernance.co.uk/products/3369) is the essential starting point for anybody who wants to get to grips with best practice information security controls. Book now for the first available course date, on 23 June 2011.

There are no formal entry requirements to this Foundation level training course, which is ideal for anyone who is new to information security, or who needs an understanding of information security controls as part of a broader information security or IT responsibility. "I'm delighted that we've now been accredited by EXIN to deliver this independently examined training course on a key area of best practice," commented IT Governance CEO Alan Calder. "ISO27002 contains 133 best practice controls which should be understood by everyone in IT and information security and this course ensures that people can do that."

Organisations can book delegates onto this course online. Course places can also be booked directly with the friendly, helpful IT Governance service centre team on telephone number +44 (0)845 070 1750. Larger organisations can make bookings or purchases with a Purchase Order either by telephone or by email to servicecentre@itgovernance.co.uk. We also welcome overseas delegates to all our courses and can provide guidance on travel and hotel arrangements.
