Protect Kids with Child ID Kit

This week, KSL ran a Story about new Child ID kits, now available to parents of every school-age child in Utah.

The ID kit helps parents collect fingerprints and other information from their children in envelopes that are kept at home – and NOT in a government database. We pray they are never needed, but if there is a crisis and a child is missing, then minutes matter. Parents will be able to provide law enforcement with vital information on the spot to help locate and possibly rescue, a missing child.

Utah AG Sean Reyes is proud to partner with the National Child ID program, local law enforcement, and community partners to make this happen. The kits are free and available through your sheriff’s office, or right here at the Attorney General’s Office.
