Google unveils power jolt with super ‘Caffeine’ search engine
Dallas, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — The Google search engine is becoming more powerful thanks to a jolt of caffeine power, except it isn’t the sort of caffeine many expect when they go to their local coffee shop.
Google will soon reveal a newer, faster and more accurate version of its popular search engine, as announced Monday. Dubbed “caffeine” by industry insiders, the new search engine was opened up to web developers. Caffeine was created with the intention to replace Google’s main search engine following the completion of a battery of tests.
Users shouldn’t be alarmed as the overall appearance of the search engine will change minimally, as the largest changes are going on behind the scenes.
“For the past several months a large team of Googlers has been working on a secret project: a next-generation architecture for Google’s web search,” Google said in a statement on one of its blogs.
“It’s the first step in a process that will let us push the envelope on size, indexing speed, accuracy, comprehensiveness and other dimensions.”
Google says the most notable changes will be in how the search system works and will make a more satisfactory experience for users.
The company also mentioned that Caffeine may also send some tremors through the marketing community and those who work to optimize their search results in Google’s index.
Caffeine will give Google the ability to index (often referred to as “crawl”) the web at a faster speed - helping the information giant to gather more information, faster.
