Barkidjija Named Credit Risk Chief At Corus Bankshares
May 13, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Corus Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: CORS) (Current Market Cap: US$48.88 Mil.) has promoted John Barkidjija to executive vice president of commercial real estate. John will also assume the title of chief credit risk officer of the company.
Barkidjija joined the company’s commercial real estate department in 1995.
Chicago-based Corus Bankshares is a bank holding company that conducts its banking operations through its wholly-owned banking subsidiary Corus Bank, N.A.
On May 1 the real-estate lender reported that it was “undercapitalized” and was exploring a possible sale.
