President departs for Pakistan
UZBEKISTAN, March 2 - On March 3, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan, departed for this country on a state visit.

Following the high-level talks held in Tashkent in July 2021, relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan reached the level of strategic partnership.
During the upcoming visit, issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership, developing practical cooperation, primarily in trade, investment, industrial cooperation, transport, logistics, infrastructure and tourism, as well as enhancing cultural and humanitarian exchange programs will be discussed. Views will be exchanged on the international and regional agenda.
It is planned to adopt a joint declaration and several bilateral documents.
