Prime Minister Stefan Löfven to receive President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin
SWEDEN, June 11 - On Monday 14 June, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will receive President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin in Stockholm. Mr Löfven and Mr Parmelin will discuss relations between their countries, including in trade and innovation. They will also discuss relations between the EU and Switzerland and they can work even more closely together in multilateral organisations such as the UN and the OSCE.
Mr Parmelin’s visit to Sweden will also include an audience with HM The King. In addition, he will meet Speaker of the Riksdag Andreas Norlén, take part in an innovation seminar at the Riksdag, and meet with Minister for Business, Industry and Innovation Ibrahim Baylan and Minister for Higher Education and Research Matilda Ernkrans.
In connection with the meeting with the Prime Minister, a Memorandum of Understanding on innovation collaboration will be signed between Sweden’s innovation agency Vinnova and its Swiss counterpart, InnoSuisse.
