PENNSYLVANIA, June 24 - Senate before being acted upon. Amendments shall be presented

with at least four typewritten copies obtained electronically

through the Legislative Reference Bureau, which shall have

the Sponsor identified. No amendment may be considered by the

Senate until the Secretary-Parliamentarian of the Senate has

posted the amendment on the Internet website maintained by

the Senate. All amendments submitted to the Secretary-

Parliamentarian for consideration on the floor shall receive

a roll call vote unless the amendment sponsor indicates

otherwise. The names of Senators voting for or against an

amendment on either second or third consideration or on

concurrence from the House shall be recorded, entered in the

Journal and posted on the Internet website maintained by the

Senate.

(3) Amendments to bills or other main motions or

questions before the Senate may be tabled. When an amendment

proposed to any bill or other main motion or question before

the Senate is laid on the table, it shall not carry with it

or prejudice the bill, main motion or question. A motion to

take an amendment from the table shall only be in order if

the bill or other main motion or question remains before the

Senate for decision. The motion to take an amendment from the

table is not debatable and shall have the same precedence as

the motion to amend.

(4) Each amendment to a bill offered in a standing

committee shall receive a vote by the standing committee

members. The names of Senators voting for or against an

amendment in a standing committee shall be recorded and

posted on the Internet website maintained by the Senate.
