AN ACT

Providing for the disposition of alternative energy credits.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. Short title.

This act shall be known and may be cited as the Alternative

Energy Credits Act.

Section 2. Definitions.

The following words and phrases when used in this act shall

have the meanings given to them in this section unless the

context clearly indicates otherwise:

"Alternative energy credit." As defined in section 2 of the

act of November 30, 2004 (P.L.1672, No.213), known as the

Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act.

Section 3. Disposition of alternative energy credits.

The Department of General Services shall offer for sale,

auction, transfer or other disposition at a fair market value of

an alternative energy credit owned, obtained or entitled to be
