Southbound I-279 Fort Duquesne Bridge Approach Lane Restriction Friday in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing a lane restriction on the I-279 approach to the Fort Duquesne Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Friday, October 22 weather permitting.
A single-lane restriction will occur on the Fort Duquesne Bridge approach from southbound I-279 between the northbound Route 65 Ohio River Boulevard (Exit 1C) off-ramp and the main span. Inspection work will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Crews from Mackin Engineering Company and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct the routine inspection.
Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
