​1:45 AM Update: Interstate 80 eastbound is open.

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that both lanes of Interstate 80 eastbound are closed at mile marker 231 in Hemlock Township, Columbia County, due to a vehicle crash.

A detour using Route 54 (Danville), Route 11, and Route 42 (Buckhorn ) is in place.

The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours.

Motorists should be alert and expect travel delays.
