King of Prussia, PA – Swamp Road is scheduled to close between Route 263 (York Road) and Rushland Road in Buckingham and Wrightstown townships, Bucks County, beginning Wednesday, June 23, for base repair operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The closure will take place weekdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM through July 23.

During the closure, Swamp Road motorists will be directed to use Route 263 (York Road), Almshouse Road, and Rushland Road. Local access will be maintained during the operation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Work on this operation will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, special signage and relevant training.
