Lane Restrictions Begin This Week on Route 15 in Union County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of lane restrictions on Route 15 northbound and southbound lanes between the Lycoming County line and the Interstate 80 interchange in Gregg and White Deer Townships, Union County, for maintenance activities.

On Wednesday, June 2 through Wednesday, June 9, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing patching, weather permitting. Motorists should expect lane restrictions where work is being performed. There will be no work on the weekend.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, and relevant training.
