Construction project will temporarily close portion of U.S. 52 in Jamestown

A portion of North Dakota Highway 52, also known as 1st Avenue South, will be closed from 3rd Street Southwest to 5th Street Southwest beginning on Tuesday, June 1.

The southbound lane will be closed for concrete repair and a detour will be in place. U.S. 52 is tentatively scheduled to reopen on Monday, June 7.

This phase of the project is part of the ongoing effort to provide various improvements to curb ramps, sidewalks, signals, signing and lighting.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation would like to remind motorists to slow down and use caution throughout the work zone.
