12:00 PM Update: Route 147 in Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County is open.​

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that both lanes of Route 147 are closed between Front Street in Sunbury and Valley View Road in Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County, due to a tractor trailer crash.

A detour using Route 61, Route 890, Route 225 and Route 147 is in place.

The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours.

Motorists are reminded to be alert and expect travel delays.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, and relevant training.
