Governor Ron DeSantis Announces COVID-19 Vaccination Site in Sarasota County
Venice, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the establishment of a COVID-19 vaccination site at the Venice Community Center in Sarasota County.
The three-day site began operating today and will administer 1,000 vaccines per day through Friday, February 12, for a total of 3,000 vaccines for Florida’s seniors in the Sarasota County area.
This drive-thru site will operate from 9:30AM to 4:00PM each day. Appointments have already been filled through the Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County.
