3:45 PM Update: Rockslide Closes Route 118 EB/WB in Lycoming County

3:45 PM Update: Both lanes of Route 118 in Lycoming County are open.

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 118 are closed between Route 405 in Hughesville Borough and Route 42 in Jordan Township, Lycoming County, due to a rockslide.

A detour using Route 220 and Route 42 (Sullivan and Lycoming Counties) is in place.

The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours.

Motorists should expect delays in travel.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, and relevant training.
