Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints John Henry to the Barbers’ Board
Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of John Henry to the Barbers’ Board.
John Henry
Henry, of Ocoee, is the Owner and Operator of J. Henry’s Barber Shop of Orlando, a business he’s run since 1991. He volunteers his time with the Orlando City Soccer Historic Preservation Board, the Steve Harvey Dreamers Academy, the City District Board of Directors, and he is a PKZ Partner, working to mentor children in the Parramore community. Henry was also a member of the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force. He is a licensed barber of 36 years and earned his barber certificate from the Orlando Barber College.
This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
