Harrisburg, PA – Motorists in Cumberland County should be alert for lane restrictions Sunday morning, November 15, on Route 15 in Lower Allen Township. A contractor is scheduled to perform sign structure inspections at three locations from just south of the Route 581 interchange to the bridge over Lower Allen Drive.

Short-term lane restrictions will be implemented in both directions of Route 15 from approximately 6 AM to noon. Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, and relevant training.
