I-279 Parkway North Repairs Begin Tuesday in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing improvement work on I-279 (Parkway North) in Franklin Park Borough and Ohio Township, Allegheny County, will begin Tuesday, September 22 weather permitting.

Single-lane restrictions will occur on I-279 in each direction weeknights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Interstate 79 and the Camp Horne (Exit 8) interchange.  Work will continue through Friday night, October 2.  A single 11-foot lane will be maintained at all times as crews from Northeast Paving conduct joint repair work.

Please use caution if driving through the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
