COLUMBIA, S.C. - The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control's Midwifery Advisory Council will meet Wednesday, May 15 at 10  a.m. in room  No. 2407 of the Columbia Mills Building, 301 Gervais St., Columbia.

The meeting is open to the public.

Members and guests should park in the parking garage behind the building and enter in the rear. Please ring the doorbell to gain access to the building and be escorted to the conference room.

Directions to DHEC Columbia Mills:

From Greenville/Spartanburg: Take I-26 to Columbia past the intersection with I-20. Stay in one of the left two lanes and take I-126 toward town. Bear right onto the Huger Street exit. Go four stoplights to Gervais Street. Turn right onto Gervais, and the museum entrance is a half-block on the right, just before the bridge.

From Charlotte: Take I-77 to Columbia. Exit right onto U.S. 277. Follow 277 into town, where it becomes Bull Street. Continue several blocks on Bull Street until you come to Gervais Street (WIS-TV and a service station are on the corners). Turn right onto Gervais and go through eight traffic lights. After the eighth light (Huger Street), the museum entrance is a half-block on the right, just before the bridge.

From Charleston: Take I-26 to Columbia and exit at I-126. After crossing the bridge, take the Huger Street exit ramp on the right. Go four traffic lights to Gervais Street. Turn right onto Gervais Street, and the museum entrance is a half-block on the right, just before the bridge. 

From Florence: Take I-20 west and exit onto I-26 east to Charleston. Stay in one of the left two lanes and take I-126 toward downtown. Bear right onto the Huger Street exit. Turn right at the fourth light onto Gervais Street and the museum is a half-block ahead on the right. 

From Augusta: Take I-20 to Columbia and exit onto I-26 East. Stay in one of the left two lanes and take I-126 toward town. Bear right onto the Huger Street exit. Go four stop lights and turn right onto Gervais Street. The museum entrance is a half-block on the right, just before the bridge.
