Gazprom Neft Moscow Refinery and filling-station employees are currently starring in a photo project from international media agency Russia Today highlighting those people continuing to work at continuous-production facilities meeting cities’ and districts’ vital needs in the fight against COVID-19. A gallery with 46 portraits of employees at various businesses throughout Moscow is being shown on the media façade of the Russia Today building, as well as on the agency’s website (here). Gazprom Neft continues to run its “Antivirus” programme, directed at putting barriers in place to combat the spread of COVID-19 and covering employees involved in continuous production, oilfield services and supporting organisations at all locations in which the company operates.
A series of anti-epidemiological initiatives has been put in place to guarantee staff and visitors’ safety at Gazprom Neft filling stations. Plexiglass shields have been installed at checkouts, and special markings applied to filling-station floors to ensure social distancing. Cafes are operating “takeaway only”, with single-use cups for making hot drinks being dispensed in individual packaging. Employees are observing a mandatory mask-wearing regime, and have to pass regular testing and temperature-controls before going on-shift. Free hand-sanitiser is available for visitors, and all filling-station services are regularly cleaned with disinfectant. In addition to which, all Gazprom Neft filling stations offer online fuel payments using mobile apps, meaning fuel can be paid for without leaving the car.
The Moscow Refinery is a continuous-production facility, and continues to provide the city with crucially important goods — gasoline and diesel. Every possible initiative to ensure safety is being stringently enforced at the plant. Entry points are equipped with high-tech automatic temperature-monitoring units, and remote thermal imaging is delivering accurate body-temperature. Antibacterial air-purifiers and hand-sanitiser dispensers have been installed throughout production premises. Steps have been taken to enforce social distancing and mask wearing, transport and premises are being disinfected, and employees over 60 are working from home. Refinery employees and employees at contracting organisations responsible for ensuring the plant’s continuous operation continue to be tested for COVID-19 regularly, with tests being taken at certified Rospotrebnadzor (the federal public health agency) laboratories.
