Route 4011 Babcock Boulevard Lane Restrictions begin Tuesday in Ross Township

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing utility work on Babcock Boulevard (Route 4011) in Ross Township, Allegheny County, will begin Tuesday, May 19 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on Babcock Boulevard at the intersection with Peoples Road (Route 4009) weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, May 29 for utility work adjacent to the roadway.

The Joseph B. Fay Company is the prime contractor.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, and relevant training.
