Department of Natural Resources hosting pesticide pickup in Perryville on June 23
JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 7, 2018 - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources, in conjunction with the Perryville MFA, will provide a free pesticide collection event from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 23 at the Perryville MFA located at 3501 US-61, Perryville.
The collection is open to all Missouri farmers and households.
Accepted items include:
- Unwanted pesticides
- Herbicides
- Insecticides
- Fungicides
- Rodenticides
- Dewormers
- Fly tags
- Fertilizers containing pesticide
Not accepted items include:
- Paint
- Explosives
- Fire extinguishers
- Yard waste
- Electronics
- Trash
- Pesticides from businesses, pesticide production facilities, pesticide distributors, pesticide retailers
The event is the fourth of six events scheduled for 2018. More information about the Missouri Pesticide Collection Program is available online at dnr.mo.gov/env/hwp/pesticide.
