Gazprom Neft strengthens its partnership with the Magadan Oblast in supplying high-tech bitumens
Gazprom Neft has concluded an agreement with the Government of the Magadan Oblast on supplying the region with cutting-edge bitumen materials, under a document signed by Alexander Dyukov, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Gazprom Neft, and Sergei Nosov, Governor of the Magadan Oblast.
In implementing this agreement the parties intend to expand the use of modern bitumen materials to increase the useful service life of road coverings. Joint R&D activities and laboratory testing are planned to develop cement binder and asphalt formulations adapted to the specific climatic and road-usage conditions in the Magadan Oblast, with special experimental road sections to be built for experts to monitor road-surface conditions.

Products will be delivered from the Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery by road and rail, in special patented medium-tonnage cuboid “Clovertainers®”. Using these innovative packaging materials facilitates multimodal transportation, cost-effectiveness and year-round deliveries, as well as guaranteeing that the quality of the bitumen materials is retained.
