The Professionals 4.0 platform was released during the final of the Leaders of Russia competition in Sochi in March 2019. The project brings major companies together with talented professionals in addressing technological and managerial challenges, through flexible teams. The platform offers direct engagement via a website and mobile app, as well as online facilities for networking and professional development. Once registered, users can access its database to select tasks of interest to them. Partners including SIBUR, Ruselectronics, Rostelecom, Rosseti, SKOLKOVO Business School, Ernst & Young, the Administration of the Leningrad Oblast and others are already involved in the project.

Gazprom Neft has signed an agreement on cooperating with SIBUR, SKOLKOVO Business School and the Administration of the Leningrad Oblast in developing their Professionals 4.0 platform. The document was signed at this year’s St Petersburg International Economic Forum by Alexander Dyukov, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Gazprom Neft, Mikhail Karisalov, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, SIBUR PJSC, Andrei Sharonov, President, SKOLKOVO Business School, and Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Oblast.

Collaboration through the Professionals 4.0 platform is directed at finding talented professionals to address technological and managerial projects, through flexible teams. The objective of this strategic partnership is to combine organisational and digital capabilities in taking project implementation to a new level.
The platform is being developed as a major Federal project, supported by the “Russia — Land of Opportunity” NGO and is open to major Russian companies, government agencies and individual professionals. It offers an innovative model for sourcing and engaging talented professionals in real-sector technological development in the Russian economy, whereby specialists have the opportunity of offering their knowledge and skills in working on clients’ tasks, without having to be employed full-time at that organisation.
Leading companies, business schools and government agencies have already placed more than 70 projects through the platform, which finalists and semi-finalists in the 2019 Leaders of Russia competition began working on in April. The Leningrad Oblast is the first constituent entity of the Russian Federation to be given access to the Professionals 4.0 platform, with the Administration of the Leningrad Oblast publishing 10 tasks, all touching on expanding investment opportunities in the region.
