Gazprom Neft and Roscosmos outline key areas for cooperation
Gazprom Neft and state corporation Roscosmos are investigating the possibility of leading businesses in the space industry becoming involved in addressing the technical challenges facing Russia’s fuel and energy industry, with a plan of initiatives covering the most promising projects having been signed on 17 April in Moscow by Gazprom Neft CEO Alexander Dyukov and Roscosmos state corporation Director General Dmitry Rogozin.
Under this agreement the parties have agreed that the United Rocket and Space Corporation PJSC will act as coordinator managing collaboration between Gazprom Neft and Roscosmos organisations.
Gazprom Neft and Roscosmos have some previous experience in cooperation, with a range of state-owned businesses being involved in procurement procedures and offering their products to Gazprom Neft Group companies.
